The somewhat salty taste of the tamari goes perfectly together with the mild and creamy cashews. The cashews are being roasted together with the tamari, for the good taste of soy sauce in the cashews. Tamari is a Japanese soy sauce, made of fermented soy beans, and is thicker and less salty than the known 'common' soy sauce. This special combination is delicious as snack, or as addition to salades or other dishes. If you cannot get enough of these cashews, try also the other tamari roasted nuts & seeds, like almonds and pumpkin seeds. Just like the raw variety, tamari roasted cashews are rich of iron and magnesium. These minerals are both necessary for good functioning of the human body. Besides this, roasted cashews contain much unsaturated fats, that contribute to the lowering of the cholesterol.
