Rice malt syrup is a thick, sticky, golden syrup. It is a natural sweetener, made of rice and malt (sprouted barley). During the germination of the grain, enzymes are formed. These enzymes partially convert the starch from the grain into fermentable sugars. Citrus juice is being added for the durability of the product. The gold color syrup is thick, sticky and has a mild sweet taste. It is not refined, what means that the natural components are maintained during the production of the syrup. It also contains the necessary vitamins and minerals for the further digestion in our bodies.
