This coffee from Honduras is full of aroma with a rather sweet, mild taste. It ensures a good balance in your cup of coffee. This espresso roast is perfect for cappuccino, espresso and ristretto. Around the year 1700 the Spaniards brought the coffee beans they found in surroundings of Ethiopia to Honduras. By now, about 13 million kilo special (organic and/or Fairtrade) coffee is produced each year. Of course we select the best coffee to import. The process: The coffee beans are being plucked in three to five rounds and washed with clear water. The beans are 100% sun dried. A part of the coffee beans are with the help of water and carbon in a natural way eviscerated of caffeine before they are being delivered to IDorganics. Finally, we roast the coffee beans through the 'slow roast proces' in our own roastery to delicious coffee.
